Iceworks

In 1999 whilst working on the Commission “Artbarns – after Schwitters” I spent a very cold winter making work in and around a barn high in the Fells of the Forest of Bowland. I began to make a series of Iceworks, photographing the ice in water troughs and farm tracks.

These works celebrate the most transient, ephemeral constructions in the landscape.
